What You'll Do
- Masterfully operate heavy machinery: excavators, backhoes, loaders, blades, scrapers, and dozers.
- Tackle roadwork, excavation, and lifting tasks with precision.
- Use small-engine tools like jumping jacks, wacker plates, compressors, and power tools.
- Inspect equipment routinely and report any issues.
- Follow safety protocols like a pro and help create a secure job site.
- Team up to complete projects efficiently and on time.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3+ years in construction or heavy equipment operation (preferred but not required).
- A strong focus on safety and following rules.
- Team-player attitude with the ability to also work independently.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make smart decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to travel, work various shifts, and handle overtime when needed.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry 25-50 lbs. regularly.
- Perform repetitive movements like bending, kneeling, squatting, and twisting.
- Sit or stand for long periods and navigate uneven terrain.
- Work outdoors in all types of weather and noisy environments.
- Frequent sitting
- Occasional push/pull
- Rarely bending/stooping
- Rarely climbing
- Occasional reaching
- Continuous grasping equipment controls
- Occasional fine manipulation
- Frequent use of Foot controls
